Tại xBook, sứ mệnh của chúng tôi là mở rộng khả năng tiếp cận giáo dục chất lượng cao cho tất cả mọi người, không phân biệt vị trí địa lý, điều kiện kinh tế hay khả năng thể chất – bao gồm cả người học khuyết tật.

Chúng tôi tôn trọng và thấu hiểu sự đa dạng về nhu cầu, khả năng và góc nhìn của cộng đồng người học toàn cầu sử dụng nền tảng xBook. Mỗi người học đều có giá trị như nhau, và vì vậy, xBook cam kết bảo đảm nền tảng www.xbookVN.com có khả năng tiếp cận đối với người khuyết tật, đồng thời cho phép và hỗ trợ các đối tác nội dung phát triển, đăng tải nội dung học tập đáp ứng các tiêu chuẩn tiếp cận số.

Để thực hiện cam kết này, xBook triển khai các nguyên tắc và biện pháp sau:

1. Tuân thủ tiêu chuẩn khả năng tiếp cận quốc tế

xBook hướng tới việc tuân thủ Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) phiên bản 2.1 – mức AA, do World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) ban hành. Đây là bộ tiêu chuẩn quốc tế được công nhận rộng rãi nhằm bảo đảm website và nền tảng số có thể được sử dụng bởi người khuyết tật, bao gồm nhưng không giới hạn ở:

• Người khiếm thị hoặc suy giảm thị lực;
• Người khiếm thính;
• Người gặp khó khăn trong vận động;
• Người gặp hạn chế về nhận thức hoặc thần kinh.

Bên cạnh đó, xBook cung cấp các công cụ xây dựng bài giảng cho phép đối tác nội dung phát triển nội dung học tập phù hợp với WCAG 2.1 AA.

2. Kiểm tra và đánh giá khả năng tiếp cận

Việc đánh giá mức độ tuân thủ khả năng tiếp cận của nền tảng xBook được thực hiện thông qua:

• Kiểm tra mã nguồn thủ công;
• Kiểm thử tự động bằng các công cụ được công nhận trong ngành;
• Kiểm thử khả năng tương thích với các công cụ hỗ trợ tiếp cận phổ biến (ví dụ: trình đọc màn hình);
• Đánh giá định kỳ bởi chuyên gia hoặc đơn vị tư vấn độc lập về khả năng tiếp cận số (khi cần thiết).

3. Ưu tiên xử lý lỗi liên quan đến khả năng tiếp cận

xBook cam kết ưu tiên xử lý các lỗi ảnh hưởng đến khả năng tiếp cận với mức độ tương đương các lỗi gây mất chức năng nghiêm trọng đối với người dùng không khuyết tật. Mọi vấn đề làm cản trở việc tiếp cận nội dung học tập đều được xem xét nghiêm túc và xử lý kịp thời.

4. Truyền thông và phổ biến chính sách

Chính sách Khả năng Tiếp cận này được:

• Công bố công khai trên website xBook;
• Phổ biến đến các đối tác nội dung;
• Chia sẻ với các nhân sự, cộng tác viên và nhà thầu có liên quan trong hệ sinh thái xBook.

5. Yêu cầu đối với nội dung học tập

xBook yêu cầu:

• Tất cả video học tập phải có phụ đề đồng bộ theo thời gian (timed captions);
• Các đối tác nội dung phải tuân thủ nghĩa vụ độc lập của họ theo các quy định pháp luật về khả năng tiếp cận áp dụng tại quốc gia hoặc khu vực liên quan.

Nhằm hỗ trợ đối tác nội dung, xBook xây dựng và cung cấp Hướng dẫn Thực hành Tốt về Khả năng Tiếp cận cho Nhà phát triển Nội dung, giúp bảo đảm nội dung học tập đáp ứng nhu cầu đa dạng của người học khuyết tật.

6. Nhân sự phụ trách khả năng tiếp cận

xBook có đội ngũ chuyên trách hoặc nhân sự được chỉ định có kiến thức chuyên môn về khả năng tiếp cận website và tiêu chuẩn tiếp cận số, chịu trách nhiệm:

• Điều phối các hoạt động liên quan đến khả năng tiếp cận;
• Theo dõi việc tuân thủ tiêu chuẩn;
• Là đầu mối tiếp nhận và xử lý các vấn đề liên quan.

7. Đào tạo nội bộ

xBook tổ chức đào tạo định kỳ hằng năm cho nhân viên và các bên liên quan nhằm nâng cao nhận thức và năng lực trong việc bảo đảm nền tảng tuân thủ WCAG 2.1 AA.

8. Tiếp nhận phản hồi và hỗ trợ
